Books

Books are great resources for general information and a good place to start your research. Finding books can be done in several ways:

Your subject reading list

  • Your lecturers have selected books and listed them in your subject outline, under either prescribed or recommended texts. They're a great first stop.

Searching the Library Catalogue

  • You can search the catalogue for a particular book if you know the title or author, or you can search by general subject area to discover what the library holds.

Browsing the library shelves

  • The library shelves are ordered by subject area, so all the books on a particular subject will be located together. Browsing is a great way to discover unlikely gems.
